Focus Areas

01

Healing from Childhood Trauma (a form of Complex Trauma)

Unfortunately what happens in childhood does not always stay in childhood. I support clients in navigating healing from the wounds of childhood which may range from experiences such as growing up in a unstable or conflict-heavy household, having a psychologically immature or narcissistic parent, or managing the challenges associated with being a child of immigrants. Whatever your childhood was like, I will hold a compassionate space to share your story.

02

Healing from Relational and/or Betrayal Trauma (a form of Complex Trauma)

Sometimes our past relationships can leaving lasting attachment wounds, including struggles with rebuilding trust, fears around being vulnerable, or battles with relationship anxiety. Sometimes relationship trauma comes in the form of betrayal, such as being lied to or deceived by the person who you loved the most. These experiences can be incredibly painful, but you don't have to go through this complicated journey alone. I am here to walk beside you as you heal.

03

Improving our Relationship with Self and Others

I believe our relationship with ourselves sets the tone for all our other relationships. I support clients in nurturing their relationship with themselves by building self-compassion, self-trust, and self-discovery. I also support clients in building healthier relationships by exploring and healing from past attachment wounds, exploring attachment styles, and navigating complex relational areas such as vulnerability, intimacy, and connection.

Modalities and Approach

1

Relational

I am best suited for those who are looking for a genuine human-to-human connection. I approach therapy from a relational, down-to-earth, conversational, and compassionate lens.

2

Trauma-Healing

I specialize in trauma-informed care. To support my clients with healing from past trauma, I draw from trauma-focused modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Parts Work, and Inner Child Healing.

3

Mind-Body Connection

For holistic and integrative care, I blend talk therapy with somatic approaches, drawing from meditation and mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and the Polyvagal Theory.

A Therapist Who Gets It...

I'm guided by both lived experience and extensive professional training.

I consider myself human first, therapist second.

While I have years of training in the area of complex trauma, I believe it is my lived experience of complex trauma that allows me to deeply connect with and empathize with my clients.

If you are looking for a more humanized and connective therapy experience, you are in the right place.
